Pizza dough
You’ll never buy prepacked pizza again. Never ever.
Ingredients
250 gr bread or pizza flour
3.5 gr of dry yeast –hot tip: as you won’t be using the entire packet, store it in the fridge after you’ve opened it. As crazy as it may sound, your yeast will become less yeasty if you don’t. You heard it here first!
5 gr of salt
137 ml of water – yes, this is wildly specific. And as it usually goes with baked goods…there’s a good reason. So, don’t cheat!
A good tablespoon of olive oil
Preparation
Grab a bowl big enough to hold all of the ingredients mentioned above
If you have one, use a mixer with a dough hook and mix the batter for 5 minutes. If you’re not usually into baking and don’t have one but are still motivated to put this on the table…get your hands dirty and knead the dough manually for about 10 minutes
Grab another bowl and grease it up with some oil or butter
Divide the kneaded dough into two even(ish) balls
Add dough balls to the bowl, cover it with a moist towel, and let time work its magic for at least one hour. – if you are fed up with the dough and want to revisit your life’s choices for a night, be sure to store it in the fridge. You can have it rise overnight.
