Tiramisu overnight oats

OK, admittedly, we all thought overnight oats were over. Good thing we’ve been cooking these ones the last year quite often: they bring back the oh! in oats. Keeps for a couple of days, so the perfect breakfast to prepare with your Sunday hangover. Quick and easy too.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup of rolled oats

2 tbsp of chia seeds

1 tbsp of cacao powder

½ cup of plant-based milk

½ cup of brewed and cooled coffee

1 tsp of vanilla

2 tbsp of maple syrup or agave

to top: yoghurt, crumbled cookies and/or seeds


PREPARATION

In a mixing bowl, mix the oats, chia seeds and cacao powder to a blend. Add the liquids and gently stir with a spoon until you have a consistent mixture again.

Store in the fridge - well overnight.

Serve as is, with a lay-over of yoghurt, seeds and or crumbled cookies.
